How labelling and packaging automation works
Every labelling system follows a similar four-step cycle, running inline at production speed.
Variable data is printed onto the label – GTIN, batch, expiry, serial number, allergen information. Print engines are specified for the data type, the substrate and the throughput.
Apply
The label is applied to the product, carton or pallet by a labelling head matched to the format (top, side, wrap-around, two-panel, corner). Application accuracy holds at production speed across the full SKU range.
Verify
Inline vision inspection confirms label position, content, print quality and code readability. Codes are read and verified against the expected data on every unit.
Reject
Non-conforming units – missing label, misaligned, unreadable code, wrong data – are rejected automatically. Every event is logged for traceability and audit.

Labelling by product shape
Labelling solutions specified to the product format – cylindrical, square, contoured, flat or irregular. The right labelling head, dispenser and orientation system for the product geometry.
Print engines
Industrial print engines specified for inline labelling. Print engines from Zebra and Cab matched to the application, the substrate and the print speed required.
Labelling accessories and software
Label dispensers, rewinders, unwinders, product handling and integration accessories. Label design and management software (NiceLabel, BarTender) for variable data and full SKU range control.
