Barcode Verification Service
AIS Vision Automation provides barcode verification and grading services to ensure your barcodes scan reliably at every point in the supply chain. We test barcodes against ISO and GS1 standards using certified verification equipment and provide detailed written reports with remediation guidance where needed.
Testing is carried out by trained engineers with expertise in barcode print quality, placement and compliance. We work with Omron (LVS), a leading manufacturer of GS1-certified 1D and 2D barcode verification equipment.
Why Verify Barcodes?
Poorly printed or non-compliant barcodes cause supply chain delays, failed scans, disputed shipments and supplier fines. Verification confirms your barcodes will scan first time, every time, preventing costly re-runs, rejected shipments and damaged trading relationships.
Many large-scale operations and government agencies require barcode verification to maintain contract standing and avoid penalties.
What We Test
Products are submitted in final retail form along with loose labels or unformed packaging. We assess:
- Print quality and contrast.
- Size and dimensional accuracy.
- Colour and reflectance.
- Quiet zones (light margins).
- Bar height and placement.
- Compliance with GS1 and ISO standards (ISO 15416, ISO 15415, ISO 16022, MIL STD.130, UDI Guidelines).
How It Works
Submit
Send us your products, labels or artwork along with your verification requirements and we confirm scope and pricing.
Test
Once payment is received, we test barcodes using GS1-certified verification equipment according to ISO 15416 methodology.
Report
You receive a detailed written verification report with grades, pass/fail results and remediation guidance where needed.
